2021-01-06 Following the J6 insurrection, some Republican politicians and right-wing social media influencers began falsely claiming that Antifa was involved. It also states Fox host Tucker Carlson amplified the “false flag” theory suggesting the siege was orchestrated by the FBI, and a year later the conspiracy grew into a “Ray Epps” conspiracy theory.
2024 October
2024-10-07 Pro Israel groups including Canary Mission peddled conspiracies on social media that Columbia University student and pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil helped plan Hamas attacks. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt also alleged Khalil distributed fliers with a Hamas logo. On March 8 2025 the Trump administration arrested him and shipped him to Louisiana.
2025 October
2025-10-13 Glenn Beck posted on X that the FBI showed up to his house to discuss the Antifa network. He reiterated the unfounded conspiracy that there is a network funding material and financial support for Antifa even though it is not an actual organization.

2026 January
2026-01-09 Fox “news” and Laura Ingraham continue to peddle the conspiracy that anti-ICE protesters were being paid. During an interview with Tom Homan, Laura Ingraham perpetuated misinformation that protesters were being paid and that protests were not “organic”.
