2026-01-29 ICE detained 5-year-old Liam Ramos and his father at the Dilley, Texas detention center. The child stopped eating, was lethargic, and was going through depression. Reports described poor conditions, medical concerns, and a later measles outbreak. A judge ordered their release in February. The Trump administration said they planned to appeal the release.
