2025-06-23 A US citizen, US Marine, and father of three Narcisco Barranco was beaten and detained outside a Home Depot while working a landscaping job. DHS tried to assert he assaulted them with a weedwhacker, but footage showed he did not assault anyone.
2025 July
2025-07-10 ICE detained Iraq war veteran George Retes while he was on his way to work.
2025-07-15 U.S. Army Veteran Bajin Mavalwalla was arrested at his home one month after he participated in an anti-ice protest and faced up to six (6) years in prison for alleged conspiracy to impede an ICE officer. During the time of the protest, 93 justice attorneys received a memo demanding they prioritize prosecutions of anti-ICE protesters. Of the attorneys who would not comply for obvious ethical reasons, they were either ousted or forced to resign.

2025-09-30 During an MSNBC interview, Senator Tammy Duckworth stated, “Our troops did not sign up to be on the streets to intimidate our neighbors”.

2025-10-04 ICE agents attacked 84-year-old Laurie Eckman and 84-year-old Richard Eckman, knocked them down, sprayed them with chemical agents, and injured the woman by throwing a projectile at her head. Her husband – a Vietnam veteran – was harmlessly leaning on a walker just before the assault.

2025-12-12 The Trump administration collected data on all immigrants who are in any way affiliated with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. For context, the VA system recruits foreign workers through the use of National Interest Waivers and still suffers a drastic staffing shortage.

2025-12-13 When confronted at a hearing, Representative Seth Magaziner of Rhode Island asked Kristi Noem how many United States military veterans were deported. Noem stated we have not reported any US citizens or military veterans. Representative Magaziner then supplied a Purple Heart recipient via Zoom who was deported and another combat veteran whose wife was deported yet came to the States legally.
