The cover of 2024 features “Ballerina Farm” and “the Importance of Being Sexy”, aimed at the Trad-wife movement. Hugoboom also launched her own brand of supplement called “Toxic Breakup” to “detox the body” after discontinuing the use of birth control. The owners also launched an app in 2022 for women to log their menstrual phases, but the app was controversial for pro-life rhetoric. The app was funded by Peter Thiel.

2022-08-19 Amber Nicole Thurman died at the age of 28. She passed away from preventable septic shock and retained products of conception following a medication abortion, with delays in receiving necessary medical care contributing to her death. The care was delayed because when she showed up at Piedmont Henry Hospital for a routine D&C to remove fetal tissue from her body that hadn’t been expelled, she was denied immediate treatment because her State had made performing the procedure a felony. Doctors would have been prosecuted for up to a decade in prison. She waited 20 hours in a hospital bed while providers monitored her blood pressure sinking and organ failure before they operated, but by then it was too late. During a forum with Fox News on women’s issues, Trump was asked, ”…Amber Thurman’s family have come out on a press call and they’re doing what’s called a prebuttal to our town hall right now…” to which Trump replied ”…Oh that’s nice. We’ll get better ratings, I promise.”*

2024-02-29 In February 2024 Republicans blocked the IVF bill in. Some of them claimed that IVF would lead to human-animal chimeras. During an interview with Lila Rose in September 2025, Emma Waters of the Heritage Foundation also made a mention of how IVF could “invite” birthright citizenship if contracted out to the Chinese. 2024-05-01 In December 2023 over 150,000 registered Republican voters in Florida joined others in signing to KEEP abortion access for women, making it more than 1.3 million signatures. Regardless, in May 2024 Florida banned abortions after 6 weeks, which is before many women even know they are pregnant because it typically gives a woman two weeks at most to know that she has missed her period.

2025-11-18 Anti-abortion bill SB323 Unborn Child Protection Act was presented on the Senate floor which aimed to make abortions a felony homicide carrying a 30-year prison sentence.
It would also make it a felony to give someone information about where to get an abortion, remove exceptions for rape, incest, and fatal fetal abnormalities, and would reclassify any birth control including pills, IUD implants and IVF illegal .
