ACLU said he was not allowed to say goodbye to his wife and three children. He was arrested in June while livestreaming a No Kings demonstration. He was charged with unlawful assembly, obstruction, and being a pedestrian on a roadway.

2025-06-17 Brad Landers was detained by federal agents while he tried to peacefully escort a man out of immigration court in Manhattan.

2025-07-16 A class action suit was filed against the Trump administration for thousands of unlawful arrests and detentions, citing immigrants were lawfully appearing for their scheduled hearings.

2025-08-27 Long-time community organizer and valid DACA holder Catalina Xochitl Santiago was detained at a domestic flight while on the way to work in El Paso. Even after a judge ruled that her DACA status was valid she remained in detention.

2025-09-05 ICE raided a Hyundai battery plant in Georgia and arrested 475 South Koreans for “exploiting the workforce”. This came just after South Korea invested billions in battery plant production in the US.

2025-10-03 Alderman Jessie Fuentes was arrested by ICE at Humboldt Park hospital for asking officers if they had a federal warrant. In the video you can see Alderman Fuentes was calm and cooperative.

2025-11-06 ICE arrested a Chicago day care worker in front of children. The woman being detained tried to tell officers she had a valid permit to work, but she was still arrested while ICE proceeded to storm the facility.

2026-01-22 ICE arrested civil rights attorney Nekima Levy Armstrong during a protest in St. Paul Minnesota. The White House then doctored and digitally altered a photo of her arrest to make it appear she was crying.
2026-01-22 Two Brooklyn Park Minnesota women were detained by ICE while they were monitoring school bus drop off locations for safety. During their custody, the arresting agent had a seizure. The women stated they were released from handcuffs so they could render emergency medical assistance to the agent. DHS later made a statement, saying that the women “lied to law enforcement stating they were nurses” and that they never rendered assistance.

2026-04-26 ICE detained a mother and her five children, imprisoning them for 10 months until a judge ordered their release. In a statement DHS called the judge an “activist judge” who is “releasing this terrorist’s family onto American streets AGAIN”. After the ruling, DHS detained the family a second time. When the family was released, they reported no medical care, rotten food, and that they were not allowed to practice their Islamic faith.
