Question 1
You call Donald Trump “unconventional” and laugh off his behavior. But would you be laughing if a Democratic president acted the same way? His supporters may enjoy the insults and antics, but they are shameful, divisive, and embarrassing, and the entire world is watching. His remarks are repeatedly racist, derogatory, and inflammatory, sometimes encouraging violence and reckless behavior. At what point will you stop excusing this conduct and admit that it is unfit for a president and dangerous for the country?

Answer 1
Submitted to Congress by HistoryListory: Yes, on July 17, 2026 I submitted this question to 2 Congressmen, 2 Senators, and 1 Governor
Included message: “Please be advised any non-response or response will be publicly included on my website HistoryListory.com for readers to review”.
Response received? Yes, 1 Senator responded, but it appears they used a pre-written response template that had nothing to do with the question. On 07/17/2026 they wrote: “Thank you for contacting my office regarding the importance of election integrity and security. Our country was founded upon a revolutionary idea. That idea was to institute a system of government, which operates for the people and by the people. Protecting the integrity of our elections is paramount to ensuring the well-being of our fundamentally democratic society. Any infringement on our democratic process undermines our entire democratic system. My primary mission as your United States Senator is to make government work with proven (MY STATE, EDITED) solutions that are ready for America. To better inform my decision-making, it is important that I hear the ideas, concerns, and opinions of all (MY STATE, EDITED). I appreciate the time and effort you took to provide input on the integrity of our election process and will keep it in mind as the U.S. Senate considers this issue.”
One (1) OTHER Senator replied with a canned-response on July 24, 2026. They sent, “My staff has made a note of your thoughts. As you know, the Constitution vests the President of the United States with key powers and responsibilities, including the power to command the military, the responsibility to report to Congress on the State of the Union, and the duty to faithfully execute the laws of our country. As your U.S. senator, I have worked to ensure that our country has not lost its check on the executive branch. While the president sometimes communicates differently than I do, I have been pleased with the results Congress and his administration have delivered to the American people. This includes strengthening and rebuilding our military, providing tax relief for hard-working families, and forging new trade agreements to benefit our farmers, families, small businesses, and communities. Additionally, we have worked together to secure key investments for our nation’s transportation infrastructure. I recognize there are many challenges that still remain. That is why I continue to visit and listen to individuals and businesses throughout (STATE) on areas where improvements can be made. Rest assured I will continue to work with my colleagues in the Senate, regardless of party, to address the problems facing our nation.
Question 2
The president’s words carry enormous influence. Trump has quipped about injecting disinfectant to treat COVID, spread disaster rumors that discouraged people from seeking FEMA aid, and made unsupported claims about Tylenol and vaccines. We also saw how presidential rhetoric helped fuel the January 6 attack. At what point will you hold a president accountable when his words cause foreseeable harm, and why should voters accept “that’s just how he talks” as an excuse?

Question 3
3.v1
We’ve watched this administration turn deportation into Valentine’s Day jokes, let emergency food for starving children expire, push people with disabilities back toward institutionalization, expand executions, and now plan to spend millions on electric-shock gloves for immigration agents. Trump has even publicly celebrated the death of a political adversary. At what point does this stop being tough policy and become a culture of cruelty, and what will you do when the government itself begins teaching Americans that humiliation, suffering, and even death are things to celebrate?
(SCROLL DOWN FOR SOURCES)
3.v2
Trump proposed a “migrant UFC,” the White House turned deportation into a Valentine’s Day joke, and Pete Hegseth used a children’s character in a meme depicting lethal military strikes. These aren’t policy arguments; they turn violence and human suffering into entertainment. Why has this kind of cruelty become acceptable behavior from government officials, and what will you do to restore basic dignity and seriousness to public service?
(SCROLL DOWN FOR SOURCES)
3.v3
Trump publicly celebrated Robert Mueller’s death, Senator Mike Lee mocked the murders of Melissa and Mark Hortman, a political pastor prayed for James Talarico’s death, and Lindsey Graham declared, “We’re killing all the right people.” When leaders begin treating death (even the deaths of political opponents) as something to joke about or celebrate, what does that do to our country, and will you publicly condemn it regardless of who says it?
(SCROLL DOWN FOR SOURCES)
3.v4
This administration tried to deport unaccompanied immigrant children in the middle of the night, cut funding to Catholic charities caring for migrant children, subjected hunger-striking detainees to involuntary medical procedures, and now plans to buy electric-shock gloves for ICE. At what point does immigration enforcement cross the line into deliberate cruelty, and what limits and independent oversight will you support to make sure human beings are treated humanely?
(SCROLL DOWN FOR SOURCES)
3.v5
The administration allowed emergency food intended for starving people to expire, Republican leaders have cut programs serving homeless people and veterans, and the Justice Department has moved toward making it easier to institutionalize people with disabilities instead of supporting community care. Why does this movement so often demand sacrifice from people who are already vulnerable, and what will you do to ensure government protects them rather than simply abandoning them?
(SCROLL DOWN FOR SOURCES)
3.v6
The Justice Department is pushing to expand capital punishment, multiple executions are being scheduled at the same time, and prominent Trump allies have even joked about migrants becoming food for alligators. This seems like something larger than individual bad comments; it reflects an increasing comfort with suffering and death. Do you believe government should cultivate that kind of culture, and what will you do to push your own party toward restraint, humanity, and respect for life?
