2026-09-21 A man in Vermont was convicted of attempted second-degree murder on 3 Palestinian students at University of Vermont campus. In the attempt one victim was left paralyzed from the waist down. Jason Eaton shot at all three men from the porch of his house.

2026 October
2026-10-19 A Mississippi AG ruled that the Senatobia officer who fatally shot 1-year-old baby boy Kohen Wiley was justified. This shooting was over a suspected shoplifting for which the department had no evidence. The family representative Ben Crump stated, “This is a department whose chief was fired after reports of racial slurs in his text messages, and whose officer faced a complaint alleging a racially offensive remark two days before he shot Kohen”.
