2026-06-08 Citizens of France accosted Pete Hegseth for delivering a speech at a memorial ceremony in Normandy where he compared the immigration of migrants into Europe to a modern “invasion”. Citizens called the speech “toxic” and criticized “people trying to interfere in our democracy’.
