Question 1

President Trump pressured Raffensberger to “find” enough votes to overturn his 2020 loss, his allies organized false electors, his administration has seized Georgia ballots and Puerto Rico’s voting machines. The administration has also tried to give the Postal Service power over which mail ballots are delivered. If Trump again tries to use emergency power to interfere in the 2026 elections, will you oppose him, and what will you do now to protect our ballots from partisan interference?

Question 2

President Trump pressured Republican-led states to redraw congressional maps to protect their House majority, then condemned Democratic states when they pursued matching redistricting efforts to protect their own seats. Now he is seeking greater federal control over elections, voting records and equipment before the midterms. What evidence can you offer that this is about election security rather than partisan interference, and will you oppose any attempt by this president to seize emergency control over how Americans vote?

We saw during the Cambridge Analytica whistleblower case that Trump-aligned partisan actors improperly harvested Facebook data to build voter profiles. We have also seen deceptive robocall campaigns, fake-elector schemes, and partially prefilled absentee ballot applications on behalf of America PAC. Now a former Republican official owns Dominion Voting Systems. What concrete safeguards will you support to guarantee that partisan state officials or political groups won’t interfere with the 2026 election to benefit President Trump?
