The administration boasts that tariffs are generating revenue and policies from the Big Beautiful Bill are saving taxpayers money, yet this administration claims America cannot afford broader childcare assistance and has taken SNAP benefits. Meanwhile, taxpayers paid for a costly retrofit of a Qatari luxury jet, a $220 million advertising campaign for Kristi Noem, financial support for Argentina, and potentially enormous settlements to cancel offshore wind projects. Why are these priorities affordable, but helping American families afford childcare or raise their children is not?

Response received? One (1) Senator rseponded on July 28, 2026. I VERIFIED THEIR RESPONSE WAS TO THIS QUESTION ABOUT CHILDREN as the email title read “Re: Family/Marriage - Children, Question 1”. However, they sent me an automated pre-written email about military operations in Iran. They sent, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has long been the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. For decades, the regime has funded and armed proxy groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. This regime has supported attacks that have killed Americans while supplying weapons used against U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran has also been linked to assassination plots against U.S. officials and dissidents and continues to violently repress its own people. A regime that chants “Death to America” can never be allowed to develop nuclear weapons and long-range missiles. Iran already has ballistic missiles that can reach parts of Europe. If not stopped, Iran would have capabilities that can reach the entire European continent and the U.S. For years, the United States has attempted to resolve this threat through negotiations. Yet, the Iranian regime has repeatedly refused to abandon its nuclear ambitions, missile program, or support for terrorist proxy groups. Operation Epic Fury was undertaken to stop Iran from threatening the United States and its neighbors by degrading the capabilities it uses to project violence. This operation has successfully targeted missile systems, military infrastructure, and other assets that enable the regime’s aggression across the region. Decisive action now helps prevent a far greater threat in the future and reinforces the United States’ commitment to protecting our citizens and standing with our allies. This operation hasn’t gone without the loss of brave men and women in uniform. We honor and mourn the lives lost, including Master Sergeant Noah Tietjens (posthumously promoted), who served our nation for nearly two decades. Our nation is safer because of our servicemembers’ unwavering commitment to our country. My primary mission as your United States Senator is to make government work with proven (STATE) solutions that are ready for America. To better inform my decision-making, it is important that I hear the ideas, concerns, and opinions of all (STATE RESIDENTS).
